Hello! Today is the big day!
As I write this, we are sitting in the Toronto airport waiting to board our flight to Lisbon, Portugal. We’ll arrive late morning (Lisbon time) and begin making our way to Fatima.
So far it’s been smooth sailing! Miraculously we were out the door on time, and the first two flights were great. Other than my new neck pillow having a hole in it (which hopefully we’ll be able to effectively patch), we can’t complain!
It still feels unreal that in 8 hours we will be in Portugal. I won’t believe it until I’m walking off the plane. 10 months in the making, and finally we are on our way! Please keep us in your prayers. The first photo is of the very first pilgrimage practice walk we did together, preparing for 7-8 hour walking days. The second photo is my Dad and I this morning at the Kamloops airport!
