Hallelujah, Christ is risen! Happy Easter, dear friends! We had the most marvellous day, and hope you did too!

Easter Mass was magnificent. Very joyful and full of graces. The weather also remained steady, meaning no rain, praise God! We felt blessed to have such good weather the whole week (minus one evening).

We spent the day resting, rejoicing and praying. In the afternoon we attended the Eucharistic procession and adoration which was fantastic. And then, thanks to Dad’s brilliant idea, we had an Easter Sunday dinner with our house mates!

Where we stayed was basically a hostel, but with private rooms, shared bathroom and shared kitchen. There were 4 other people there with us, and we all got to know each other well over such a short period of time. (Pilgrimages will do that). We all brought different items and shared a simple, yet lovely, meal together. The company was the best part, with many laughs and good conversation.

Following dinner we attended the torchlight procession. This is a long-standing tradition in Lourdes. It was such a highlight from our last trip that we knew we had to participate again this year. There was no rain but lots of wind, which meant a constant relighting of candles as we processed. All in all, it was a beautiful and memorable way to end our final night in Lourdes.

Today, (Monday), we are travelling to Spain and will begin the Camino soon. We’ll be updating more regularly soon, since our evenings won’t be so late. Thanks for reading and God Bless! Please say a prayer for us! Happy Easter, Hallelujah!
