Good evening (or morning or afternoon wherever you are)! Today my Dad and I completed another 15km and went from Granon to Belorado. It was fairly overcast and windy, but still warm so it almost made for the perfect walking conditions!
We started the morning with a sleep-in and a lovely breakfast provided by our hostel. They had some music playing as people began to leave, so we were singing and dancing along to our favourite, CCR. Well, at least I was singing and dancing haha. Just minutes after leaving, I realized I didn’t have my bag with my passport, money and ID. I rushed back to the hostel with no luck. I emptied everything from my bag on a random park bench and eventually found my bag in another bag in another bag. (I have too many bags I guess.) Praise God! It was a bit of a whirlwind of a morning to say the least.
The day was otherwise quite calm! I continued to tape my feet to prevent more/worsening blisters, and my Dad trucked along doing well tackling the kilometres. The last 6 minutes of the walk I made the insane decision to jog. I had a burst of energy, and thought “why not?” So off I went, jogged with my pack until I met up with my Dad who greeted me with the most confused look on his face. I also got some weird looks from non-pilgrims, but I didn’t mind since I’ll never see them again. Eventually my brain kicked back into being sane, and I walked to the hostel with my Dad. But maybe tomorrow I’ll try to jog for 10 minutes, who knows, it wasn’t too bad today!
We made a lovely dinner with other pilgrims at our hostel and shared many laughs. My Dad and I attended evening Mass, and have had a relaxing evening in. Our bodies are a bit sore but overall doing well! Tomorrow will be a 12km day, so it’s time for rest!
Take care and God Bless!

I P.S. enjoy some photos from yesterday, of our hostel and other things! One of the photos is the attic attached to the church that is now for cleaning and drying clothes!
LOVE the flower pot!!!! How clever.
Haha I agree!! It would be fun to make!
Your heart Must have been in your mouth when you thought you had left your passport behind!!!
So pleased you found it reasonably quickly.
You’re doing well with your mileage! So scary “losing” your important things… great you found them quickly.
