Hi friends!
Today was a lovely lovely day! We had a 15km day which flew by. On our way to our final destination we came across a festival. We have absolutely no idea what the holiday was, but we heard there was some type of festival happening in the area, causing most places to be closed. As we got into the village we could hear some talking over a loud speaker and music in the background. Then, everyone began singing what we think was the national anthem. The bridge we had cross was completely filled with people in costumes, and was obviously blocked off. We stopped and watched for a while as they all broke out into singing and dancing. Still, we have no idea what was going on, but it was really fun to see!
There was a cafe nearby that served the largest coffee’s we have ever had in Europe. Such a minor thing, yet it made us very happy haha. We kept on walking and before we knew it, arrived in the next town. It was a tiny little village that felt like a ghost town. But the hostel was nice, with only a handful of people. My Dad so graciously treated me to dinner and we had a relaxing afternoon.
The last few days have been such a blur, like previously mentioned, that I don’t remember much else if I’m being honest. Wake up, pack, walk, shower, wash clothes, eat, sleep, repeat. 95% of our days go like that, and after 3 weeks of it, you don’t know what’s what anymore hahah. Which I suppose today (Tuesday) is 3 weeks on the Camino!! Unreal.it feels like we’ve been here forever, but also like we just started.
Well, to sleep I go, in hopes of remembering the next few days better!

What a joyous post Hannah!
I’m so happy that you’re having such a special time. And what marvellous memories you’re making with your Dad.
Keep doing what you’re doing!
Ultreia! Buen Camino!!!
